Radio Interview With Fences
At the summertime it can happen, that I don't switch on the computer for a longer time. But one sunny day I suddenly had the feeling, I should get my eMails. So I did this in the evening, and it was good so. Because between some immediateley erased junk-mails there was an interesting message:
A man, called Charly Sinclair introduced himself as an talk-master of "RMN radio" with the broadcast "the better side". His editors had found my page and he would like to introduce it during his broadcast.
RMN radio?
Never heard that! But it sounded interesting. As I visited RMN radio I was surprised:
It was much greater I thought! A lot of people are working there in a few of studios at Germany and even one in the USA, making program round the clock for the radio listeners. I clicked through the internet pages and found "the better side", which should be at the next day.
This felt pretty good and I sent immediateley a message to the talkmaster an hoped, it will arrive at time - Charlies mail was already a few days in the mailbox.
The interview should be next day. I had no idea, if my message arrived Charly at time. He wrote in his mail of the possibilities to write some sentences about my homepage or introduce it live at his show. I decided for the last item, of course, because it seemed much interesting. So I had to get ready between 6 and 8 o'clock afternoon for the telephone call.
So I waited couriousloy...
I sat there at the bench in the garden and enjoyed the ending day as suddenly rang the phone.
It was Charly Sinclair from RMN radio!
Charly greetende me and told me some details about the interview, while the listeners heard music.
Then it was time to go "ON AIR"
Charlies voice suddenly soundet like far away, and in the trouble of the moment, he changed my name and called me "Andreas". I wasn't sure, if he meant me or an editor at his studio - so the interview was a little difficult at the beginning.
But then it worked better and I answered some questions about my homepage: How I got the idea, which problems there were, special happens and so on. As he questioned me, if I had some help, I used the chance to greet Kerstin, she helped me by a few special problems. But I forgot to greet Josef, who helped me, too - so I well greet him from here instead:
Dear Josef, many thanks for your help!
As I should talk about the idea of Alexandersound, I had to talk about "Lucille", because this was the project I started the homepage with. Charly intended to play the demo for the radio listeners.
and he searched and searched...
Seemed that Charly get lost at my homepage and searched intensively for the demo. "Well, in case of need, I have to sing now", I offered joking, but then Charly found it and the listeners got the sound-demo "Lucille".
The next trouble should came soon: I wanted to tell something about the demo, but it was already playing (I couldn't hear that at the phone) and so the listeners got to hear a little gibberish. At next I lost the theme during the interview and told a little nonsense...
but you have to go through and to do like nothing was happened, then it's no problem ;-)
Charlys favourite project was "Lady In Red". But time was to short, to talk about. So Charly recommended his listeners to visit my page by themselves and started my Chris DeBurgh imitation, not without getting sure, that the voice really is from me.
I could confirm this.
Charly then thanked for the interview, and also I had the time to do this and to say good-bye to the radio listeners.
Then another trouble was done: After the interview we talked about it and Charly forgot to close the microphone during he played a song from his radio-program for the listeners. Well, that's live!
At last I told to Charlie: "What do you mean? It was a wonderful interview, wasn't it?"
And Charly: "Yes, very wonderful, super!"
And althought the interview could also have the title:
"Troubles and accidents"
we agreed in the point that it was a perfect interview!
